Summer Vacation 2010

We had a wonderful time this year on our summer vacation. First we went to Johnson City, TN to visit our son and daugher-in-law. We had a great meal together then the next day we had a picnic on Buffalo Mountian. Next we went to Pigeon Forge and rented a cabin. We also took the "kids" to a place call 'The Track' so they could ride the go carts and bumper boats. Our grandchildren looked so cute on their old time photo plus Garrett and Gavin had their pictures made riding some ponies. We had a great time and here are some of the pictures.

Mammaw Snyder

My Mammaw Snyder will be 100 years old next month. We went to visit her Tuesday and took a couple of pictures. We love her and she has been a big Christian influence in our lives. May God bless each one of you as much as He has blessed her.

Independence Day weekend...

We had a great weekend with family and friends. It started with Aly's softball game, then we went to Vastwood Park where the Lewisport Baptist Church Youth were selling funnel cakes. On Sunday evening we enjoyed food and fireworks at our friends Ryan and Kate. We want to share a few of the pictures we took over the weekend.

Paducah Road Trip

We've been framed!!!

Today we went on a road trip with our friends Diane and Jerry. We went to Patti's 1880 Settlement in Grand Rivers, KY. We had lunch at the restaurant and took in the shops. Then we drove over to Paducah to check out the river front and the local mall. Surprisingly with all that shopping we didn't buy a lot, but we did laugh a lot and had a very good time.

Doe Run Inn Restaurant

We had a good time yesterday at the Doe Run Inn Restaurant near Brandenburg, Kentucky. Our friends, Ron, Jan, Frank, Kathy, Karen and Wil went with us. We liked it and would like to go back sometime. Check it out. They have a website: www.doeruninn.com
